By adding BasicOps in the Sidebar, users have instant access to BasicOps in Webex. They will be notified if there are any important activities in BasicOps and can collaborate directly with their team on projects, tasks, files and notes.

How to install BasicOps in the Webex Sidebar
In order to have BasicOps installed in the Webex Sidebar, you will need to ask your Webex administrator.
Go to the Webex Control Hub and follow the steps below.
- Select Apps in the sidebar panel
- Select the Embedded Apps tab
- Find BasicOps and click on it
- Scroll down to the Sidebar settings
- Set the options as shown in the screenshot

Make sure to set the sidebar settings to Show app in sidebar and Make always on as shown below.

Where is BasicOps in the Webex Sidebar?
BasicOps in the Sidebar can be found on the lower left side of the Webex interface. It is identifiable by the BasicOps logo, accompanied by the name BasicOps next to it.
Utilizing BasicOps in the Sidebar
When integrated into Webex, BasicOps retains all its core functionalities and expands upon them by leveraging Webex's communication capabilities. This means your team can manage projects, tasks, files and notes within BasicOps while simultaneously communicating in real time through Webex's chat, voice, or video functions.
Expanding The Window in Webex
Using BasicOps in the Sidebar offers convenience, as you can expand the window for uninterrupted use during any Webex activity. Simply select the 'Expand' button to do this.
Upon selection, a fresh window will promptly launch, featuring BasicOps.
Now, regardless of your activity in Webex, you can consistently access your projects, tasks, files and notes in a separate window, ensuring uninterrupted productivity.
