Board view displays your workflow using columns and task cards. Each card describes a single task, and each column represents a specific grouping.
In the board view you can quickly see the status of tasks, drag-and-drop tasks, edit tasks, filter, sort, and a lot more.

How to view your tasks in Board view
To view your tasks in the Board view simply select your project in the left side panel, and then select Board view in the top menu.
In the example below we clicked on the project titled Product Roadmap. You will see that this project is organized into 3 sections - June, July, and August. Under each section are the tasks assigned to that section. Anytime a new task is added to a section it will be displayed here.
How to drag-and-drop tasks
You can drag-and-drop tasks between sections by clicking on a task, holding down the mouse button, and moving the task to a new section. For example, below we drag-and-dropped the task Color selection to the section titled June.
Add a new section
In order to add a new section to the board view, click on the + Add New Section column at the top of the page. You will be prompted to enter a new section name.
Note: If you have tasks that have not been assigned to a section, they will automatically be added to a section labeled None.
Mark a task complete
You can mark a task complete in board view by clicking the status checkbox next to the title of a task. The checkbox will change color to green to indicate its status has been updated. The status will be updated to complete in all views - list, table calendar, and timeline.
Edit a task
To edit a task, simply click on the task name. This will take you directly to the task details screen. For example, if you click on the Color selection task you will see the following screen.
Filter and Sort
Filter and sort works the same as in other views. You can select filter and sorting options from the pulldown menus at the top right.

Organize columns by Section, Status, or Team
You can further organize the board view by Section, Status, or Team. To do so, click on the View by pulldown menu at the top right of the screen and select the columns you wish to display.
Using the mouse, you can then drag-and-drop tasks between columns organized by Section, Status, or Team.
