Editing the "Client" label

The guest user label “Client” can be customized to suit your needs.  For example, you could change it to “Vendor”, “Agency”, “Contractor” or anything else that you prefer. 

To do so:

• Click on Admin in the left hand panel
• Select the Workspace tab
• Check the box next to Client Access Control

• In the Admin page, switch to the Clients tab
• Click on the Edit Label link and adjust the label as you feel fit

In the following example, we’ve changed the label name from “Client” to “Vendor”.

Now, anywhere in the application where the label “Client” was used will be changed to “Vendor”.

Note:  BasicOps supports three kinds of users.  These are represented in the Admin page as Users, External Users, and Clients. You cannot add more user types, but you can edit the Clients label to suit your organization's needs.
