Note: History logs are available in all BasicOps plans
In BasicOps, the Project History records all changes made in tasks and projects. This allows you to see who has done what in your project, what changes have taken place, and at what time they were made. It also gives you the ability to back out any changes that were made in error.
In order to access the project history, in the left hand panel select your project and click on the 3 dots. Select Project History from the pull down menu.
The history log shows all recent activity in your project. For example, you can see whether a task has been added or edited, has had its status changed, if a note has been added, or anything else.
Every log entry records a timestamp, an event, the team member responsible for the event, what changes were made, and what task or project has been affected.
Text that has been changed will be highlighted in pink or green. Pink means that the highlighted text has been deleted. Green means text has been added.
To the right of each log entry is the Undo button. If you accidentally made a change that you didn’t intend to make, click the button to restore your task to its previous state.
Task history
If you don’t want to view the entire project history but just the history of a single task, you can. To do so, select a task from the task list to highlight it. In the upper right of the task details, click on the 3 dots to display the action menu. In the menu, select History. You will now only see the history of the selected task.
