Examples:
Example 1 - BasicOps acting as the trigger. How to set up an automation between BasicOps and another app.
There are more than 2000 apps that you can access in Pabbly.
As an example, we will show how to set up a trigger event in BasicOps to automatically send out a Gmail message.
First, select Gmail from the BasicOps Integrations page from within Pabbly.
You will next be required to Create a Workflow. From within the Pabbly website you will be able to set up your workflow.
In this example, the trigger happens when a new project is created within BasicOps.
The event (or Action) is to send out an email through Google mail.
Pabbly will ask for permission to access your Gmail account. Click the Checkbox as shown below.
You will then be required to set up any required information for the gmail, such as recipient, content type, and content of the message.
Finally, you can Save your workflow, or you can Save & Send a Test Request.
From now on, when you create a new project in BasicOps you will automatically send out an identical gmail.
Example 2 - How to set up an automation between another app and BasicOps
You can also use another app to trigger an action in BasicOps. As an example, we could create a task in BasicOps every time a new Google Doc is added.
Trigger from Google Docs:
Action in BasicOps. (Create a task)
You will be required to include some basic information about your task such as its name and which project it belongs to. If desired, you can also include optional information such as section, assignee, and due date. Now, anytime a new document is added to Google docs, a new task will be created in BasicOps.
