BasicOps with DropBox

Dropbox is a cloud based file sharing service that is integrated with BasicOps by default.  

If Dropbox has been previously disabled, you can reenable it by following the first two steps below.

• Under Admin, click the Integrations tab.
• In the Dropbox card, click Add.

Once Dropbox is Added, go to any file section, discussion, or chat that you wish to download a file to. When you select download, you will see the Dropbox icon.  

As an example, we will download a file from Dropbox to a discussion in the Cost & Budget task in a BasicOps project.  

• First, click on the paperclip at the bottom of the discussion dialog box .

•  Click on Select from Dropbox to see your list of Dropbox files.

• Select the file or files you wish to download to BasicOps.  

In our example we selected the sample file Est.png. 

• Start the download by clicking on Choose in the lower right hand corner of DropBox.  

Your file will get downloaded and is ready to be posted into the discussion.
