How to Use Filters
- Navigate to your desired location in BasicOps, whether that is your Feed, Tasks, or Projects view.
- Click the Filter icon

- From the Filters menu; select any combination of filters to narrow your view.
Your page will update immediately as soon as your filters are chosen.
After you close the filter menu, you will see your selections displayed in the Filter button. For example, if the All Unread filter is selected the button will appear as:
To clear your filters, click the X in the filter button.
How Custom Filters Work
Custom filters make managing and viewing tasks, projects, and activity in the feed simpler and more efficient. Here’s how to use them:
- Access Filters:
Click the filter button at the top of your screen, next to the "Add Task" button. You will see a list of preset filters tailored to the view you’re in, whether it’s the Task view, Project view, or My Feed view.
2. Create a Custom Filter:

- Click Add Filter.
- Choose the criteria you want to filter by, such as Assignee, Due Date, Status, Tag, or Reviewers. You can combine multiple criteria for more specific filters.
Example: Set the status to "In Progress" and the Assignee to "Marlow Marketing."
- Once you’ve set your filter, click Save as Quick Filter to name and save it for future use.
- Your custom filter will appear alongside the preset filters, ready to use anytime.

Custom filters help you manage and organize tasks effortlessly. With them, you can:
- Quickly see who’s responsible for what.
- View tasks under specific conditions, like “Under Review” or “Due Soon.”
- Combine filters to create tailored views, such as tasks assigned to a specific team that are overdue.
