File-sharing integrations

If your BasicOps users maintain files on a popular file-sharing site, you can eliminate the confusion and chaos of multiple versions of a document by integrating those services with BasicOps.

The file can be attached to any project or task so that it’s accessible to BasicOps users. They can read, modify, and print the file — but the file remains stored and updated in its current location. The file will have the same file-sharing settings that it has on Box, Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive.

Note: Because they’re so popular, we’ve already set up the integration for you for Box, Dropbox, and Google Drive. Your BasicOps users can access files on these services as soon as they log in.

Setting up OneDrive

1. In the Admin list, click Integrations.
2. In the OneDrive area, click Add.

If you no longer use a file sharing service, you can disable its integration:

• In the Admin list, click Integrations. In the Box, Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive area, click Remove.
