If you need to create a project that has lots in common with an existing project, don’t start from scratch. Copy the project! Copying a project is a quick and easy way to create a project that is based on an existing project. You can choose the parts of the project that you want to be copied, like team members, sections, tasks, and subtasks.
To copy a project:
- Go to a project.
- Click the Action button next to the project title.
- From the dropdown menu, select Duplicate Project. (image 1)
- In the form, enter a title and check off the items you want to include in the copy. (image 2)
- Click Create Project when you are done.
