The status of a task provides a clear, visual indication of where your task stands. In the Tasks list and other areas, the task status is indicated by the color of the checkbox.
Any team member or task follower can update the status of a task. When task status changes, all project team members and task followers are notified in the feed.
Here are the available statuses (and their icon color):
The task has been added and needs to be worked on. When a task is added and assigned to someone other than the task creator, its status is New. |
|
The person assigned to the task has accepted the task. If the person adding the task is also the assignee, the status is automatically Accepted. |
|
Green means go! The task is being worked on. |
|
The team is reviewing the task. See Changing the status to under review for more details. |

Note: All status changes will produce a feed notification.
Changing the status to Under Review
Use the Under Review status to request a review from your teammates. You can select individual team members or the entire team for a review. You can also add a comment or attach a file to your review request. (See Adding details to a task for the source of files you can attach to the task.)
- From the status dropdown, select Under Review.
- Fill out the form.
- Click Submit for review.
Canceling a task
When you select this option, any prior due date will be put on hold. This means, there will be no red indication if the task is overdue.

Note: A task can’t be marked complete until all of its subtasks are also marked Complete.
