You can now activate or deactivate entire Client Groups with a single action. Instead of managing each client user individually, simply deactivate the group when it’s not in use. When reactivated, any client users who were active at the time of deactivation will be automatically reactivated. *NOTE* This feature is only accessible to Admin.
In this article, we will cover how to:
Deactivating Client Groups
To deactivate a Client Groups, go to the Users page under Settings and select the Clients tab. Here, view the list of Client Groups, and select a group to deactivate.
Click Deactivate.
Once deactivated, the Client Group will no longer have access to the projects they were previously accessing.
If you want to just deactivate 1 user from a group, you can click on the Client Group, and then select deactivate next to the user’s name.
Reactivate Client Groups
Once you have deactivated a Client Group, a second filtering option will pop up, indicated as Inactive. This will show your inactive/deactivated Client Groups.
To start the process of reactivating a Client Group, Click the Inactive filter.
Here, your inactive Client Groups will now appear. To reactivate the client group, select Reactivate.
Now, your previously inactive Client Group will show amongst the active Client Groups.
Click on your newly activated Client group. When reactivated, notice that any client users who were active at the time of deactivation will be automatically reactivated.
However, you’ll need to manually add them back to any projects you want them to access. To do this, select Manage Projects, where you can add them to any new or previous projects they were part of.
Select save, and now the Client will have access to that project.
