You can now export Project Information directly to a spreadsheet, right from the Projects page. This includes the Project Name and any associated Project Information like Project Owner, Status, End Date, and any Custom Project Fields. This makes it easy to update project information, make bulk edits, and add new data to streamline your workflow.
In this article we will discuss:
How to Export Project Information
Go to the Projects tab. Select the menu next to Projects.
Click Export Project Information to Spreadsheet.
Once you download your spreadsheet, it should look something like this. It will only display the information that is currently being displayed in BasicOps on the Projects page. To modify what is being displayed, continue reading below.
How to Modify the Custom Fields You Export
You will only export the current table of Project Information that is being shown. To modify the fields that you export, select the Settings gear in the Projects page.
View the image below; in the highlighted orange section, you can identify which fields are in the Project Information table. You can modify the order of fields in the table by dragging them up or down.
If you want to remove a field from the live Project Information table, either drag it over to the Available Fields section, or click it and use the arrows to move it to the Available Fields section. The Available Fields section lists the fields you have access to but aren’t currently displayed in the table.
Modify your table to display what you like; here, we will remove the Last Updated & Start Date fields, and insert the Created field into our table. Here’s the final look:
Select Save.
Now, the Projects table is updated, and ready to be exported!
