BasicOps provides filtering and sorting tools in each section to help you work in various ways. Use Filter and Sort to change your view or find something important in a matter of seconds. In this article, you will learn where to find and use Filter and Sort.
Where to find Filter and Sort
Filter and Sort can be found in the top right corner of these sections:
- My Feed
- Projects (List, Board, Calendar, Timeline)
- Tasks
- My Notes
- Admin
How to use Filter and Sort
My Feed:
- Click on the Filter button.
- Select any filter combination. You can filter by user, date, post, or flag.
My Feed will update immediately after selecting a filter. If you need to reset your filter, click the X in the Filter button or hover over the button until the 'Rest' tooltip appears.
Projects:
- Click the Filter or Sort button.
- Select any filter combination or sort by a specific order.
The project task list will update immediately after selecting a filter or sort. If you need to reset your filter, click X in the Filter button or hover over the button until the 'Reset' tooltip appears.
Tasks:
- Click the Filter or Sort button.
- In the Filter menu, select a task type (All, Tasks I Assigned, Tasks I Follow, Needs My Request).
- Then, select any filter combination, or sort by a specific order.
The task list will update immediately after selecting a filter or sort. If you need to reset your filter, click X in the Filter button or hover over the button until the 'Reset' tooltip appears.
My Notes:
- Click the Sort button next to the Add Note button.
- Select Update or Name.
Your note list will update immediately after selecting a sort.
Admin:
- Click the Filter or Sort button.
- In the Filter menu, select Active or Inactive.
- In Sort, select First Name, Last Name or Email Address.
The users list will update immediately after selecting a filter or sort.
