As you continue creating and using tasks, you may start to recognize patterns or repeatable actions in your workflow. For this reason, we have implemented the recurring tasks feature. Recurring tasks are a great way to repeat a task on a specific date so you don't have to manually create a repeating task.
How to set up a recurring task
- Open the task details
- Click the calendar icon
- Select a date
- Click the recurring icon
From here, you can select how often you want the event to repeat task. You can select Daily, Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly.
After you have selected a periodical set, specify the amount of time between each occurrence. Click outside of the calendar when you are done.
How does it work
Once you have set up a recurring task, you will see the recurring icon appear next to the due date. The new task will automatically be created after you have completed the previous task.
Note: New task will not copy any of the discussions, subtasks, or files from the previous task. The task description (which is also content) is copied.
